The International Bilingual School of Provence, an independent co-educational Secondary School located near Aix-en-Provence in the south of France, owes its international character to the diversity of its student population. Committed to French-English bilingualism, the school offers both the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and the French Baccalauréate.

Small classrooms, qualified teachers, modern facilities in a tranquil, calm environment help ensure the success of each student. The campus is concentrated around the main building, a typical ‘Mas’ and is perfectly adapted to the daily activities of the school. IBS offers its students the most modern boarding houses situated on three hectares of land and the campus of over five hectares includes: an audio-visual center, fully-equipped science laboratory, newly designed dining hall, computer labs, library, swimming pool, tennis courts, soccer field, dance/martial arts/table tennis hall. Involvement in the various extra curricular activities is expected and enhances the development of each individual’s character within the spirit of the school. Politeness, respect and consideration for others are important values at IBS. Students leave IBS, the majority for university placements, as caring, responsible young citizens.

Tests and interviews are held throughout the year for interested students. Contact the school directly for an admissions package.

During the Spring and Summer holidays, IBS offers intensive French as a Foreign Language programmes which include cultural excursions and sports/arts activities. Students have come to IBS every summer for over 20 years to study French, English and other subjects in a diverse international environment.
