Housing/Accommodation Info

Accommodation Choosing where to stay is very important when you come to study at English Language Dublin. Our Accommodation officer will help you with any questions you may have. We are happy to give advice on the most suitable options available. All the accommodation we offer is inspected frequently to ensure that we only recommend affordable, comfortable and friendly places to stay while living in Dublin. We have a wide range of accommodation options available at different budgets and we can find something to suit everyone. We recommend that you book as early as possible as this will help you to get what you want and to avoid disappointment. We will always do our best to fulfil all of your requirements. The different types of accommodation available through English Language Dublin are as follows: Host Family When you stay with a host family, it is without doubt one of the best ways to immerse yourself in the language and culture of a country. This is part of the learning experience - and fun! English Language Dublin carefully selects all host families and they are usually located within walking distance, or a short bus ride, of the school. Our host families are carefully selected to ensure the highest possible standards with good food and comfortable accommodation. Your host family will provide breakfast and evening meal. If you have any special dietary requirements please inform us before you arrive. The host family provide a fresh set of towels each week and change the bed linen once per week. The family will also include laundry items. English Language Dublin provides different types of families: Parents with children or teenagers Married couples with no children Single parent Family Elderly Couples Single Women A key is given to the front door so you can come and go as you please. Most hosts can cater for special dietary requirements. If you do not want to eat at home just notify your host family in advance. It is a great way to experience the culture of Ireland with a family or host. Private bedroom €170 shared bedroom €150 Shared Student Apartment A shared apartment gives you the opportunity to live with foreign, and/or native, students in a friendly and independent environment. Just remember that you may have to make an effort to practise the language outside class! Apartments are located either next door to the school or within walking distance of the school. You stay in a 2 bedroom apartment, a single room or double room if travelling with a friend, and share the kitchen. Most apartments have 2 bathrooms. A deposit may be required upon arrival, and bed linen is provided but towels are not. Prices for single room €145 Prices for twin room for two €150 each Private Apartment A private apartment is the ideal accommodation if you are looking for complete independence and a little more comfort during your stay. Apartments are furnished and come fully equipped with kitchen and bathrooms. We offer a range of options, ranging from studios to 1 or 2-bedroom apartments, depending on your requirements and budget. Private apartments are located within walking distance of the school. A deposit may be required upon arrival. Please give us as much notice as possible if booking a private apartment. Prices vary Budget Accommodation City Centre Budget Accommodation (Hostel) We are happy to recommend Hostel and Residence accommodation to our students. This is generally the cheapest type of accommodation available. The facilities are of excellent standard and have a warm and pleasant atmosphere. Because the accommodation is located in the city centre it is within walking distance to the school, generally a 10 – 20 minute walk. The general facilities available are internet, cooking, washing clothes; usually a breakfast is included in the price. Dormitory-style sleeping accommodation and/or private bedrooms are available. Prices are from €120 per week. Hotel If you want complete independence, or are travelling accompanied, you may prefer to stay in a hotel.
