School Introduction The Central School of English is a small, friendly school on a quiet street in the very centre of Dublin, less than a minute's walk from Dublin's famous Spire. We teach English to adults of all ages and from around the world.
The school is open from 9am to 9pm Monday to Saturday. We stay open all year round except for a few days at Christmas, Easter and on Bank Holidays.
All our teachers are native English speakers and have teaching qualifications that are recognised by Ireland's Department of Education.
We are located in the heart of Dublin's shopping district on the street that runs from the city's main thoroughfare, O'Connell St, to the main railway station.
Our classrooms are bright and airy, have wooden floors and comfortable seating.
We provide a lounge for students where they can access a wealth of additional learning materials and free tea and coffee from the adjoining kitchen.
There are many inexpensive cafes and restaurants nearby and bargains to be had from the neighbouring shops.
You are welcome to call into the school during our opening hours to take a look around, to meet our teachers and to find out about the courses we offer.
ESL Program Introduction
The Central School of English offers courses in General English, Business English, Exam Preparation and in our popular Rapid Speech Programme, which uses the Callan Method of teaching.

Schedule & Fees
With our special summer offer, students who sign up for three months and study ten hours a week pay just €720 - that's only €6 per lesson.
Students who study four hours a week pay just €400 for three months.
You can start studying when you like, study as often as you like, and for as long as you like.
