Introduction
Warnborough College is an accredited college for adult
education. It was established in Ireland in 1997. Its roots
go back to the founding of Warnborough College (UK) in
Oxford in 1973. Both institutions have a strong reputation
for academic quality, examination successes, and recognition
of its qualifications. Today, Warnborough is well-known for
its unique approach to Distance Learning using the mentoring
system where all students learn with their own personal
tutor.
Undergraduate Degrees - BA, BBA, BFA, Students may enrol as Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors. Transfer students are welcomed. 'Top-Up' courses maybe taken to complete a degree or to transfer the credits back to a 'home' college or university. All courses are taught by Distance Learning and a student may enrol at the start of any month. Learning is self-paced. Students may complete the programme fast-track or slow-track depending on their work commitments and lifestyle. Every student is assessed on enrolment and advice is given to ensure that individual academic needs are met. Fees are affordable, with scholarships available and payment plans (www.warnborough.ie). Graduate Degrees - MA, MFA, MBA, DBA, PhD The Graduate Research Centre (GRS) offers graduate degrees by Research, Projects and Publications. All applications are carefully considered by the GRC Academic Committee, and the Academic Dean will advise all candidates on their programme of research. All researchers work with a distinguished mentor, and candidates may consult with a mentor before Matriculation (enrolment). The GRC is restricted to 100 researchers. A candidate may apply at any time of the year, and Matriculation (enrolment) is 1st of each month. Fees are affordable, with scholarships available and payment plans. For Mature candidates 60 and over automatic scholarships are awarded (www.warnborough.ie). Accreditation The College is accredited by the Accreditation Service for International Colleges (ASIC) as Premier College (www.asic.org.uk). ASIC is a UK government and EU recognised accreditation body and is listed by CHEA International Quality Group in Washington DC (www.cheainternational.org). Also, Warnborough is an institutional member of The College of Teachers a UK professional body holdingnigel nigel a Royal Charter since 1849 (www.collegeofteachers.ac.uk). Through its global partnerships Warnborough graduates may be awarded accredited 'dual/double' degrees.
