Indianhead International SchoolThe Indianhead School is a private,
non-profit, nonsectarian school originally established in Tongduchon
City, Korea, in 1979, with a second campus developed in Uijongbu
City.The Indianhead International School’s mission is to provide a
comprehensive and enriched program of education for expatriate children
and for those Korean nationals deemed eligible by the Korean Ministry of
Education. Indianhead School is fully accredited by the Accrediting
Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges,
(WASC), based in California.An on-going building plan has seen the
development of three special purpose buildings at Indianhead
International School. The first of these contains the main office area.
The second building consists of seven elementary classrooms, specialized
rooms for music and computer, four specialist ESL classrooms, faculty
lounge, a 120-seat theatre and ten teacher apartments. The third
building contains a fitness center, a 250-seat cafeteria, specialist
rooms and music and art, three computer labs, library, fourteen
classrooms, faculty lounge and twelve teacher apartments. The school
master plan provides for additional facility construction to meet
projected enrollment growth. The additional space and facilities allow
access to the school for day students from the greater Seoul
metropolitan area. The school has made a firm commitment to pursue a
plan of providing a high quality educational program at a financially
responsible and flexible level and to offer these services to a wider
range of students.Small class sizes and low pupil teacher ratio at
Indianhead International School allow for individualized guidance and
careful monitoring of the needs and potential of each student through
various evaluation strategies. English as a Second Language instruction
is provided by experienced specialists to those students needing
