School Introduction
Linguas Centro de Idiomas is the premier language school and translation center in Guadalajara, Mexico. We offer the experience and flexibility other schools can not match. Backed by more than 35 years of experience teaching foreign languages, Linguas enables students of all ages to learn to speak, read and write in a foreign language rapidly and effectively. Linguas offers intensive Spanish Immersion programs for individuals who want to study abroad in Mexico and offers the option of a volunteer program. In addition, Linguas offers classes in English, French, Italian, German, Chinese, and Spanish and we offer specialized classes in Business English and preparation for exams such as TOEFL. We also offer professional translation services in all our languages at very affordable prices.
ESL Program Introduction
Our English language program teaches through conversation. Our classes are private or small groups, allowing students personal attention. They learn grammar and vocabulary and begin speaking the very first day of classes. Our students learn correct pronunciation while they gain the confidence necessary to become fluent in English. In fact, Linguas was the first language institute in Guadalajara that focused on conversation instead of large group classes.
Over the years, Linguas has proven that dedication, service, and personal treatment are what allow students to learn quickly and effectively. Linguas constantly strives to provide the best service, teaching methodology and flexibility to its students. Our goal is to provide an individual approach to teaching in a fun and comfortable atmosphere.

Schedule & Fees
Regular classes: Private or semi-private classes for all our languages are scheduled when inscription is paid. Our hours are flexible, from 8:00am to 9:00pm Monday through Friday and 8:00am to 2:00pm on Saturdays. Students choose their schedule and how many hours per week they want to take. Students pay per hour, based on how many students are in the class.
Spanish Immersion classes include homestay with a Mexican family and are normally 4-6 hours of intensive classes, 5 days per week. Students choose the number of weeks they want to study. Students may take a second language in a ddition to Spanish if they prefer.
Immersion registration fee: $50.
20 hours of classes with homestay: $460/1 week, $910/2 weeks
