Continuing education courses for members of the Institute of Chartered AccountantsTEO Training Limited New Zealand TEO Training Limited was formed in late 1995 to provide continuing education courses for members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand. The company was formed by Frank Owen who was formerly National Chairman of the New Zealand practice of the international tax practice KPMG. The company is now owned by McCullochs Ltd - an independent firm practising in association with KPMG International. Contact for McCulloch's is Brent Strong (Marketing Manager) phone: 06 868 5069 or email: bstrong@mccullochs.co.nz TEO Training presents courses in 35 towns and cities around New Zealand in line with the company's policy to take its courses to the market. TEO Training specialises in training programmes on tax changes and tax reform for the accounting and legal professions and the general business community. The company follows a philosophy based on providing education to business people in the language of their business. It does not attempt to make the course attendees experts, rather the aim is to provide them with the information required to make informed business decisions. In November 1999 TEO training Ltd through its sister company in Australia, TEO Training Pty Ltd was awarded the contract by the Australian Federal Government's GST Start Up Assistance Office to undertake the Adviser Education Programme. This programme involved the company in providing over 650 seminars in 85 locations around Australia in anticipation of the introduction of the Goods and Services Tax in Australia. In recognition of this work the company was awarded a New Zealand Trade Development Board, export commendation award. TEO Training Ltd places a high importance on the response of attendees to our courses. Evaluations by the attendees are consistently high, with a 96.9% positive response to the content, documentation, and the presentation of the course. TEO Training New Zealand's business success and growth has been built on three fundamental training philosophies. In our view people want: Professional training where they live and work and at times that meet their needs; Courses that give them basic knowledge and practical guidance to make sensible decisions, rather than esoteric, highly technical argument; and Regular training if course fees are kept accessible at all times.
Staff
management and motivation in the professional environment Many of us in the professions are called upon to manage groups of people. Someone once said to me "management is the shortest route to an ulcer!" This course will put the reward back in management and help you achieve a happy and proftitable team.
