Other sports include golf, sailing, tennis, gym, kayaking and many more. The Addo Park was founded in the 1931 to preserve the last 16 elephants
left in this area. Today the third largest park in South Africa provides
a safe home to more than 550 of these beautiful creatures, along with
all of the Big Five. Indeed, the park now claims to host the Big Seven,
having added the Southern Right Whale and the Great White Shark to the
list of “must-see” animals. Combine your Addo trip with a cruise on the Sunday’s River and enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of riverside nature. Just a short drive on the N2 from Port Elizabeth towards Grahamstown, lies the village of Colchester. Situated on the scenic Sundays River at the southern gate to the Addo Elephant National Park, it offers spectacular sand dunes and breathtaking views of the city of Port Elizabeth and Algoa Bay. The river is calm and peaceful and offers a relaxing and memorable cruising experience close to the Addo Elephant National Park marine section. The Sundays River Ferry's upper viewing deck provides excellent viewing of the plentiful bird and other wildlife along the river banks. SA Marine Rehabilitation & Education Centre Visit the SA Marine Rehabilitation & Education Centre and volunteer to assist with the rehabilitation of penguins and other marine birds. Shopping centres... Greenacres is the biggest in Port Elizabeth and offers you all the stores and brands you need for a successful day of shopping. There are other shopping centres such as Walmer Park or Moffett-on-Main. So, shop until you drop! Bayworld complex is located in Summerstrand, not far away from the school. The museum
focuses on the bay’s marine life and the history of area and city, as
