ESL Program Introduction

Symposium Edinburgh courses are entirely tailor-made, devised and agreed upon with the client according to his or her linguistic and business requirements. Using the most pedagocically advanced materials and a communicative methodology adapted to all levels of proficiency, our professionally qualified and experienced academic staff are focused on the delivery of structured, goal orientated programmes. Through continuous diagnostic assessment and systematic remedial work, our individually-designed programmes are aimed at achieving sustained progress in grammatical, lexical and overall communicative competence, as well as developing confidence in the analytical, discursive and negotiation skills necessary in corporate and more general communication. Schedule & Fees

Symposium Edinburgh courses run throughout the year according to the scheduling requirements of its clients. Statistically, most courses are of one or two weeks duration, though other arrangements can be made, subject to calendar availability. Course fees are reflective of the bespoke nature of our services and are thus dependent on the package options chosen. As an indication: The fee for an intensive week-long course including 8 hours tuition per day Monday to Friday, business lunch, refreshments and all teaching materials would be in the region of £2200 (January 2006 prices).
