School Introduction

CELC is situated in the historic town of Christchurch, next to the lively resort of Bournemouth and near the New Forest National Park.

Our school, which has a Christian foundation, provides quality English language courses in a friendly, family atmosphere. We are also accredited by the British Council.

We offer a social programme with regular sports activities and excursions. School facilites include a student lounge, a computer room with free internet use and access to self-study materials.

ESL Program Introduction

We offer General English courses from Beginner to Advanced level. These provide a balanced programme of work on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, plus the development of speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

Students who wish to take an internationally-recognised English examination can also prepare for the following Cambridge examinations: FCE, CAE and CPE.

We also offer a two-week Teachers' Course for non-native English language teachers who would like to brush up their language skills. The course focuses on language enrichment, teaching methodology and practical ideas for the classroom.
