School Introduction

Founded in 2006, Expanish is a language organization in Buenos Aires, Argentina with a strong focus on comprehensive, hands on learning and progressive teaching styles, as well as an overall cultural experience for students. Expanish places students in a local TEFL certification program while offering their own cultural activities, excursions, volunteer opportunities, Spanish classes and other programs, all with the underlying goal of a complete, Latin American cultural immersion experience balanced with an emphasis on academic excellence.

ESL Program Introduction

The exciting and challenging 4 week TEFL Course in Buenos Aires will take you through all the elements of teaching English as a foreign language, preparing you for your new career overseas!

During a four-week, 150 hour intensive course, TEFL students will be provided with the necessary teaching skills, language tools, hands on method, and confidence to be able to become a working English instructor to speakers of other languages.

The 150 hour TEFL course is accredited by a national awarding body based out of the United Kingdom, listed on the British Council website as a recognised examination board. Upon completion of the course, the TEFL staff will guide you in your job placement process whether you choose to teach English as a foreign language in South America, Argentina, or anywhere around the world.

Students will take their TEFL course in a beautiful institute located in Recoleta. The institute features French architecture, a large TEFL training area, a sunny patio, coffee area, spaces to study, and WiFi access throughout the building. It is nearby to many city attractions, restaurants, shopping avenues, nightlife and public transportation, offering students an endless list of things to do, day or night.

Housing/Accommodation Info

All students are provided with housing options if they choose to attend our program. Choices range from a more social, traveler's atmosphere, to a home-stay with a native Spanish speaker host, and all are specifically chosen and approved by our staff so as to meet the standards of our school. Needs of the student are also taken into consideration such as dietary or health concerns, study habits, personal choices, proximity to institute of study, or other factors. Every student has access to a full support staff for any living, personal, academic, or travel issues that should arise during the program.
