ISCL delivers outstanding young learner programmes through our summer and Easter schools and educational stays.
Our courses combine the intensive learning of English with a fantastic stay in the UK. We are unique in providing innovative, imaginative and engaging programmes bringing together teaching English as a foreign language and the creative arts for the most effective approach to learning.
Located beside the white cliffs of the English east coast and bordering the beautiful hills of the North Downs, the seaside town of Folkestone has sandy beaches, wonderful scenery, a historic past and a creative outlook.
The town is small and friendly with all the facilities you might need. With only a few major roads everything is close by; beaches, cafes, restaurants, cinemas, markets, accommodation and school are all conveniently located. If you are looking for entertainment, the town has an artist community in the Old Town, music and literary festivals - there is always something to see or do.
ESL Program Introduction
At ISCL we believe in learning through doing, using English as a tool to accomplish a variety of projects. In the morning students are in the classroom learning new material. The afternoon is for applied learning, using new skills learnt in the classroom on exciting guided excursions, projects and activities. Amongst other things we offer:
Creative English summer & Easter vacation courses,
School Groups year round educational and cultural visits,
Visiting workshops in your school or workplace all year round,
Adult cultural experiences available all year round.
