Infant and junior pupils are based at Cherry Hinton Hall, an Edwardian building set in 27 acres of parkland. The new sixth form is centrally located in completely refurbished premises on Bateman Street near the centre of Cambridge.

Spotlight - CIS Sixth Form

In September 2016, we open our doors to young entrepreneurs.

While numerous universities and business schools offer courses in entrepreneurship, the new sixth form college at Cambridge International School is thought to be the first to take teenage entrepreneurs seriously. The school will inspire, equip and nurture entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs to create new ventures.

Tom Cassidy, the Sixth Form Principal, says that he agrees with Herbert Spencer who said, "the great aim of education is not knowledge but action". 'The kind of person who will attend the school is smart, funny and perceptive', he adds. 'They are the modern day Renaissance man or woman, seeing patterns and connections where others just see noise. They are prepared to make mistakes and above all, to back themselves. We will not be surprised if some graduates eschew the traditional university route because their business has taken off. Others may join our accelerator programme which will give them support to take their business to the next level.'
