 Leicester Square School of English
Leicester Square School of English opened in 1992 and in the last
thirteen years we have welcomed over 90 different nationalities to learn
English. We endeavour to give our students a valuable and unforgettable
experience in learning English in London. LSSE is a British Council
accredited school and member of English UK. When students arrive and
throughout their stay, our welcoming staff will offer a high level of
service and are always available to help and advise students. We can
organise accommodation during your stay either in homestay, private
home, hostel or hotel and in the summer months, we also can arrange
accommodation in a university halls of residence. The cost of
accommodation starts at £80 per week. The minimum joining age is 16. We
offer courses in General English, Academic year, one to one,
IELTS/FCE/CAE preparation, ESOL and business English. All of our
teachers are all degree educated and qualified to teach English as a
foreign language. They use the latest teaching methods with textbooks
and original materials being used in class. Our General English Classes
are structured whereby about one third class time is dedicated to
conversation and the other two-thirds grammar, reading, writing and
listening. We offer FREE Internet access to our students and we have a
study and computer area that gives our students the chance to continue
their studies after class in a quiet atmosphere. There is also free
Internet access for research or contacting friends and family. The
school is located in two Victorian buildings, the first on Wardour
Street in Soho is a wonderful place to visit and study as you can see
all of the different cultures of London blending together. Our second
school and main offices are located in Leicester Square; just two
minutes walk from Wardour Street. This is an idyllic setting as we are
in the very centre of London. Leicester Square is traffic free,
surrounded by outside cafes and restaurants, where students, office
workers and tourists sit to enjoy the atmosphere of musicians and street
artists. We are situated just minutes away from many of the major
attractions in London such as Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Big
Ben, Buckingham Palace and many of the major art galleries and theatres.
