For example, our Richard Wells Centre has carried out groundbreaking research to provide healthcare staff with the evidence and tools to prevent healthcare associated infections, including meticillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). It has been chosen as one of the most important research projects of modern times by the 'Big Ideas for the Future' report.
