Western Pacific College’s Intensive English Language Programs offers intensive, academic-based English language (ESL) classes for International students, Adults and professionals, Young children and teenagers, International visitors, and Members of Portland's international and immigrant communities.

ESL Program Introduction

Western Pacific College offers full-time and part-time intensive academic programs with TEN LEVELS of Learning ranging from beginner to advanced as well as a TOEFL preparation course. For those students who are signing up for a full-time program (who need an I-20 form), they will be placed into an individualized curriculum which is designed to adapt to their abilities, interests and goals. Each course is 30 hours of instruction. Students can study up to 40 hours a week in this program if so desired. The average amount of study time per week is 22 hours of study.

Western Pacific College ’s Intensive Language Program offers you a variety of English as a Second Language (ESL) Programs that will fit your needs, and will definitely give you a positive result in learning English. Our intensive course is a comprehensive course that includes a combination of speaking, listening, writing, reading, and conversation for students that want to further their academic abilities.
