School Introduction

We are a tutoring center located in Englewood, NJ. We provide tutoring to students, pre-k through 12th grade, in all school subjects. Instruction is available in reading, writing, math, homework help and standarized tests including SSAT, ISEE, SAT, SATII, ACT, GRE, and GMAT. Our center also specializes in ESL (English as a second language) instruction. Courses include grammar/writing, pronunciation, listening/speaking, communication skills, business English, idioms/expressions and TOEFL/TOEIC.

ESL Program Introduction

At Athena Language Institute, we customize courses based on individual or corporate needs. Courses are specifically designed to help our clients reach their language goals quickly and efficiently.
Our courses are suitable for individuals who would like to improve their English language skills for academic, professional, and social/personal purposes.
We offer private, semi-private and group classes. Our programs include in-home private lessons, intensive programs, weekend workshops and English for special purposes including: medical, industrial, customer service and the restaurant industry. We also offer on-site private & group classes to corporate clients. Our courses are custom-designed and based on evaluation findings and corporate needs. We provide clients with skills that enhance their work performance. Some of our corporate courses include: Pronunciation and Accent Reduction, Communication Skills, Grammar and Writing, Presentation Skills, Business English, Idioms and Expressions, Conversation, Listening and Speaking, Reading and Vocabulary and American Culture/Citizenship.
