Branford Hall Career Institute has been training career-minded students for more than forty years. The school’s has campuses in six cities in New York and New England, all with the goal of provided professional education in fields that generate in-demand jobs.
Among other approvals and accreditations, the school has been accredited by ACICS (Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools), a Washington, DC-based agency whose authority is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Branford Hall Admissions and Financial Aid

The admissions system may be best described as open, but there are a few standards that each applying student must meet. Students must submit their high school record or GED scores and may be required to take an aptitude assessment examination.

The process of obtaining the money required for an education can be daunting. In recognition of this, the school has established a financial aid office to help prospective students understand the aid process. Most enrollees at Branford Hall do end up with some form of assistance, whether from federal, state or private sources, but students must qualify to get aid.

Teachers at the school are selected based on their real-world professional resumes along with their educational qualifications.

Student Enrollment

Most locations have in the neighborhood of 350-450 enrolled students, as reported in a 2005 government survey. The manageable size of the campuses may be a plus to some students looking for a more personal educational experience. Women are the predominant gender on each campus, but each program may have its own particular demographic character.

Student Life

Students tend to be from the communities surrounding the school. Many students may be redefining or upgrading their existing careers while some are more recent high school graduates. Day and evening class times help busy adults enhance their careers.
