The University of Nebraska–Lincoln, also known as UNL, is the flagship institution of the University of Nebraska system. It was founded in 1869. UNL's main campus is located in Lincoln, a few blocks north of the Nebraska State Capitol. The university offers more than 100 undergraduate majors and over 250 programs of study.
