Study at Austin CollegeAustin College, commonly referred to as AC, was founded in 1849. Initially located in Huntsville, Texas, the college moved to its present 70-acre campus in Sherman, Texas, in 1876. AC merged with the Texas Presbyterian College in 1930. The U. S. News and World Report of 2006 placed Austin College among the top 100 "Best Liberal Arts Colleges".
